A METHOD to maximise your PERFORMANCE

First visit

The first visit is a crucial stage in establishing a precise diagnosis and creating a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs and health goals.

✔️ Medical history and background

The chiropractor will begin by asking you detailed questions about your medical history, current symptoms, lifestyle, diet and exercise habits. This information is important for making an accurate diagnosis and creating a personalised treatment plan.

✔️ Physical examination

The chiropractor then carries out a physical examination to assess the health of your spine and joints. This may include flexibility tests, palpation to detect areas of muscle tension, joint strength and mobility tests, as well as postural and neurological tests.

✔️ Postural analysis

This stage enables the chiropractor to assess the patient’s posture and determine whether there are any imbalances or structural problems that may be contributing to the pain and symptoms.

✔️ Examination of the spine

An examination of the spine by a chiropractor is a key step in the diagnosis and treatment of health problems related to the spine and nervous system.

✔️ Objectives

The patient and chiropractor discuss the objectives of the treatment together.

✔️First chiropractic adjustment

The chiropractor may propose an initial adjustment of the spine if this is indicated. The aim of this adjustment is to relieve pain and muscle tension pending a full review of the tests carried out.

✔️ How can we help you?

Based on these results, the chiropractor will propose a personalised treatment plan to help the patient achieve his or her goals.

✔️ Personalised action plan

This plan may include chiropractic adjustments, muscle strengthening exercises, stretching, nutritional and ergonomic recommendations, as well as advice on improving general lifestyle.

Chiropractic adjustments

Chiropractic adjustments will be made at each visit by Dr Sylvain Caron. The frequency and duration of visits may vary depending on the severity of symptoms and the patient’s response to treatment.

What is a chiropractic adjustment?

A chiropractic adjustment involves applying precise pressure to a specific area of the spine or joint in order to correct interferences in the body.

This interference is called "CHIROPRACTIC SUBLUXATION"

Chiropractic adjustments are designed to detect subluxations and correct them so that the body returns to normal function without interference.

The chiropractor generally uses his or her hands to perform the adjustment, but may also use specialised tools or devices to facilitate the application of pressure. The chiropractor applies rapid, controlled pressure to the desired area, which may cause a cracking or popping sound.

This noise is usually due to the release of gas from the joint and is a normal and harmless sensation. After the adjustment, the patient may feel an immediate improvement in pain or mobility.
